live long and prosper

Hello everyone! It's finally summer! I'm currently working as an intern at the TTC doing technical illustrations for them (yay!). This is my first illustration full time job ever! The only other full time job I ever had was working as a chef assistant at a boy's dorm/church lol.

I'm just working on updating my website a bit, have a few pictures to add. And still painting that silk floral painting. I want to start a series of silk paintings now, I'm slowly getting the hang of this fabric (yes!!). It's a little tricky, but I just love the rich colours when it's painted on thickly. I have yet to experiment with a lighter wash of colour...maybe on an offwhite silk next time ;)

I just had a show at the Sleeping Giant. That was really fun! Until next time, thanks for looking :)
